The Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall

The Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall Nottingham are two of the UK’s most successful touring venues, leading the way for arts and entertainment in the East Midlands region. Our diverse programme of events includes internationally renowned orchestras, the highest quality ballet, opera and touring drama alongside West End musicals, stand-up comedy, rock and pop. Also offering a wide range of workshops and projects involving the local community, foyer performances, backstage tours, plus our bustling café bar and elegant restaurant, there really is something for everyone.

The Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall is supporting Dementia Friends, an Alzheimer’s Society initiative, to help people develop an understanding of dementia and turn into action to support customers and employees who are affected by the condition. Our Access Manager is a Dementia Friends champion, and provides regular training for our Front of House staff.

The Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall is a member of the Dementia Action Alliance; a movement with one simple aim: to bring about a society-wide response to dementia.

We are also a member of the ‘Take a Seat’ initiative. Businesses and community premises across Nottingham are offering older people a chance to sit down and catch their breath when they are out and about.

Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall is located in the heart of Nottingham City Centre, easily accessible by bus and tram. There is near-by blue badge parking and multi-storey car parks as well as a layby outside the Royal Concert Hall that can be utilised for dropping off and picking up.
