Doncaster Central Library runs dementia friendly programmes.
Central Library has a ‘Reading well — Books on prescription’ collection, which provides help and support for people with dementia, carers and family members. For more information, visit: https://library.doncaster.gov.uk/web/arena/dementia
Central Library also offers free access to visits from the Home library service. The HLS assistant will visit dementia patients and their carer’s in their own home if they are unable to visit a library. This is a monthly visit and includes books, spoken word and DVDs.
