Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (BMAG) first opened in 1885. It is housed in a Grade II* listed city centre landmark building. There are over 40 galleries to explore that display art, applied art, social history, archaeology and ethnography.
Dementia Friendly Sessions will soon start running every month, and each session will be led by a member of staff who is a Dementia Friend. Sessions are all free and are designed to meet the needs of adults living with dementia, and their friends, families or carers.
Each session will start with a short tour of one gallery, followed by a chance to get close-up with objects from the past.
Places are free but must be pre-booked.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and has wheelchairs that can be borrowed at reception.
