We are delighted to share another opportunity to reconnect with the Arts Centre and indeed each other! Continuing on the basis of our craft exhibition 'Generation' we are giving you an opportunity to knit your own socks!

In a preindustrial era, home sock making was a necessity particularly during WW2 and as industrialisation took over the skill became rarer. Confined to our homes again these days, we bring you the challenge and satisfaction of making something wonderful and connecting with others over the simple joy of sock making.

Workshops will commence Monday 1 March
