Keeping Connected & Creative

Throughout 2020 we’ve a series of projects and services to support people to keep connected!

  • Art-2-Art Catch Up Calls:
If you’d benefit from a regular hello
and friendly chat, our team of
volunteers are on hand. We’ve had
    book sharing, poetry readings and
    over-the-phone support taking on
    creative challenges.
  • Create at Home Packs:
Each free monthly pack is filled with
    creative activities devised by artists
who lead our sessions for older
    people and those living with
dementia. Dip in and have a go
using the materials you have around
    the home and garden.
  • Singing Hinnies:
There are a great many who
    continue to shield and self-isolate.
Order a song and smile with a
garden gig from the Singing Hinnies.
Our musicians will pop along to your
street for a spot of singing and
    music.
  • Creative Friends:
For those wanting to get back to face
to face sessions, our Creative Friends
group will this autumn be meeting
    under strict social distancing
    guidelines at The Shipley in
    Gateshead. New members are
    always welcome to come along
