Join our brand new 8-week dance programme and discover how to make your body and mind move freely and joyfully. Explore how renowned contemporary dance choreographer Shobana Jeyasingh creates movement, rejoice in dancing together and make your own dance using the communal and celebratory folk dance of Dabke (intergenerational Middle Eastern wedding dance).   There will be a tea and biscuit break at the end and the chance to mingle.

This programme is designed for adults with early-stage dementia, their companions and those looking to preserve brain health, with or without a diagnosis.

The project is part of Shobana Jeyasingh Dance (SJD) national mass participation Dabke events which they are hoping to perform across the UK, inspired by their production, Clorinda Agonistes, which will tour around the UK in summer 2022.
