Showcase your work and change lives!
In the next year 225,000 people in the UK will be diagnosed with dementia.
As an artist you can help to transform their lives – in just a few minutes!
Be a part of an exciting social media campaign:
A diagnosis can be devastating, but even with dementia, it’s still possible to live well, to be creative and to have fun through engagement with the arts. The arts can dramatically improve the quality of life for those living with dementia – see our video – and we would like further the conversation through this campaign.
We are asking artists across the UK to post a piece of work and a short message to raise awareness of the huge contribution that the arts can make to people living with dementia.
The campaign will have an impact! We already have interest from artists with a combined total of over 300K followers.
We are teaming up with photographer Linda Blacker (@LindaBlacker) to launch this campaign.
Produce or perform a piece of art – a masterpiece or a quick sketch, a photograph, a video, a poem, a piece of music or a performance. As long as it is shareable via Instagram or Twitter, it really is up to you!
Post your work at:

Include some text encouraging readers to take a loved one with dementia to an arts event or give them an arts experience and, if you like, that they can find local arts opportunities here.
We recommend using HootSuite, a free social media platform, to schedule your post.
