StAn’s Café Virtual Event - Busy Bees
10:00am - 1:00pm
This is an online event.

Come join us at our interactive Zoom Virtual Café

We will also be streaming the virtual café LIVE on Facebook and will be available for rebroadcast.

As usual, we will be uploading the content presented during the virtual café at the Discussion tab of this event - so that you may revisit anytime after the event. This is also where you will find information on how to join us on Zoom as well as material lists for you to prepare if you would like to make along with our live demonstrations.

If you are camera shy, no worries - just turn off your camera option when you join us in our Zoom Virtual Café.

This month we bring you our Busy Bees Virtual Café packed with interesting content and 'make along' activities for all ages. Learn how to make your very own Bee Hotel with our wonderful creative volunteer, Marina.

Our amazing pastry chef Avery will be sharing his Honeycomb recipe LIVE! Make sure to check out the material list for this recipe if you would like to make along with him.

We have a special guest speaker from the Garden Museum to share their interesting and important work. We also have a Guest Artist segment for Mary's Music. To top it all off there will be lots of music, Quizzes and fun facts throughout the event.

So that you do not miss out on a particular segment that you are interested in, we have included a schedule of our program below.

  • 10:00 Chatty Café
  • 10:20 Bees Needs Week 2020
  • 10:45 Make Along - Bee House
  • 11:25 Mary's Music
  • 11:35 Bake Along - Honeycomb (Part 1)
  • 11:55 Guest Speaker - Samia Qureshi (Garden Museum)
  • 12:40 Bake Along - Honeycomb (Part 2)

As a continued support to our community and especially to those who are still under lockdown due to #COVID19, we hope by hosting these virtual cafés we will bring some fun, stimulation, promote wellness, togetherness and community spirit.

Please do make yourself comfortable at home with your cup of tea and a plate of treats or home bakes, and join us at our Virtual Café event. Share this with your family and friends, and ask them to join along and have some fun.

If you know of someone who cannot access our event, why not telephone and share with them some of our contents and activities - we can still be connected.

Everyone from anywhere in the world is welcome!

See you on the 18th July.
