Description of the Event:

Songhaven is a dementia-friendly monthly concert series in central London. We provide FREE 40 minute concerts featuring top professional artists, designed to be enjoyed by people living with dementia and their carers/companions.

This month, soprano Lizzie Holmes, mezzo-soprano Vivien Conacher and pianist Benedict Lewis-Smith perform a programme of classic repertoire including operatic arias and duets, tunes from the old musicals and popular songs from yesteryear. Everyone is welcome to respond to the music in whatever way is natural for them - movement and noises from the audience will not be seen as disturbances.
We always finish the concert with a fun singalong item before providing afternoon tea in the Lumen Cafe.

Booking is now open for 18 November 2017 here.
