Singing for the Brain Portland

Fortnightly on Wednesdays
for participants
for carers

Singing for the Brain is a popular social activity for people who are living with dementia, their family and carers. The activity is designed to promote confidence and enhance the well- being of those affected by dementia. Specially trained facilitators deliver a varied programme of vocal, rhythmic and gentle movement, and support the group to sing along to old (and new) favourites, either unaccompanied or sometimes using musical instruments.
