Living London’s Moments: dementia-friendly tours of the Museum of London Docklands

First Wednesday of the month
02:00 PM – 03:30 PM
for participants
for carers

NOTE: the Museum of London Docklands is currently closed and so we have taken the decision to cancel all tours. Instead, we have created resources for people living with dementia to access at home. Our 'Creative and Connected' activity packs can be downloaded from our website.

Join us for a dementia-friendly experience of the Museum of London Docklands galleries. Explore the museum on a relaxed 30 minute tour, chat with our friendly guides and get creative in the sensory, interactive workshop which follows. Workshops may include arts-based creative crafts, singing and food tasting. Tour and workshop topics will change monthly and vary from London's old East End to the changing face of shopping and food in London.

Our tours have been designed with and for people living with the early stages of dementia, accompanied by their companions. We advise advanced booking, but welcome drop-ins on the day.

This is part of the Museum of London's Memories of London programme, which aims to improve the wellbeing of people living with dementia throughout London.

To find out more and to book, please see our dedicated webpage and scroll down to the 'dementia-friendly tours' section.
