InMind: Art, coffee and conversation sessions for people living with dementia
for participants
for carers
Join us for discussion and art making inspired by the permanent collection.
Artist and gallery educators facilitate these regular sessions for individuals living with early to mid-stages of dementia and their carers, friends and family members. Each session will allow participants to choose between a discussion session focused on an artwork from the RA Collection or an art making workshop.
The discussion session will involve looking at and discussing responses to an artwork. Participants will be supported by the use of multisensory objects relating to the artwork.
The art making workshop will be inspired by an artwork from the RA Collection or an the work of a Royal Academician with participants supported to explore different materials and ways of making.
This event includes refreshments and volunteer support is provided.
If you wish to be added to the waiting list for an InMind session, please contact access@royalacademy.org.uk or call 020 7300 5732.
