for carers

This is an extremely challenging time for so many of us and the health and safety of people affected by dementia. This week would have been Dementia Action Week and understandably it has been postponed. However, I feel strongly that making a difference to the lives of people affected by dementia should continue.

I, as a Dementia Champion with the Alzheimer's Society, will be running a Dementia Friends Information Webinar Session on the 16th May at 2:00pm, accessible from the comfort of your own home.

This session is 30-45 minutes, it's free and it is for everyone - carer, family, friend and anyone affected by dementia. You will learn the five key messages that we feel are important to increase your understanding of dementia and inspire you to take action to support people affected by dementia in their community.

There are 850,000 people living with dementia. Become a Dementia Friend and learn more about dementia and the small ways you can help. From telling friends about Dementia Friends to visiting someone you know living with dementia, every action counts.

There is limited number of spaces and therefore please register at this website (or click on the QR Code) for the login information to be sent to you. I hope you will support and join me.
