Dementia Friendly Screening: Summer Holiday
for participants
for carers
One Tuesday per month Kiln presents a Dementia Friendly Screening in our Cinema at 11am. The screening changes each month, so our audiences can enjoy a wide range of films in a relaxed environment.
Our upcoming screening on Tuesday the 14th of March is 'Summer Holiday.'
Cliff Richard stars in this classic feel-good musical. Don (Cliff Richard) and his friends convert a double-decker bus into a holiday caravan and drive to Greece, picking up friends along the way, including a musical trio and a runaway singer.
The running time for this screening is 1 hour and 47 minutes.
During the screening, the lights will be on higher, and the sound is down lower to create an easy environment for all to enjoy. Audience members are welcome to come in and out of the auditorium during the screening and experience it in a way that makes them most comfortable, whether that be in silence or by singing along. All responses are welcome.
We have Front of House Assistants on hand to guide and assist audiences through our venue.
There is level access to the Cinema via our lift, located near the Box Office. The back row of the Cinema auditorium is also level access and there are gradual stairs throughout the rest of the auditorium.
There is also plenty of space for mobility equipment that needs to be stored during the screening.
Standard priced tickets are £8. Free tickets are available for North West London residents, to register your interest please fill in this form: https://bit.ly/3m8hMoD
