Picturehouse's monthly Dementia-Friendly screenings aim to be fun and inclusive and are open to the general public. Over the next few months, we'll be showing White Christmas (13 Dec), How to Marry a Millionaire (31 Jan), and The Band Wagon (28 Feb).
The lights are up and the sound is down to create a safe and comfortable space for people with dementia, their friends, family, and carers, and anyone else who may benefit from a relaxed film screening. The audience is free to move around, and hum or sing along to any musical numbers!
Doors open at 10.30am for free tea, coffee, and biscuits (film starts at 11.00).
Tickets are £4 per person (accompanying carers come free) and can be booked in person at Box Office, on the phone at 020 7294 7908 (accessibility hotline) and online at picturehouses.com/bradford. Wheelchair spaces are limited, so please book in advance.
