#CreateAndDonate in the 2.6 Challenge on April 26!
Arts 4 Dementia is joining Just Giving and Virgin Money Giving in the #twopointsixchallenge.
Give 26 minutes to inspire people at home living with dementia! Arts 4 Dementia offers stimulating arts opportunities, now through interactive Zoom programmes for people living with early stage dementia at home. We are also training artists to deliver their own programmes acroiss art forms and signpost these opportunities UK wide. Never has the need been greater for older people who have so little company or stimulation. You can do anything on a theme of 2.6 or 26 or…
To support the 2.6 Challenge, Arts 4 Dementia is challenging you to take part in our very own #CreateAndDonate 2.6 twist on the challenge! During this difficult period we have been inspired by the creativity that we have seen in homes across the country, and we are now challenging you to create your very own masterpiece in 26 minutes. Whether it’s a toilet roll sculpture, a dance routine, a piece of poetry or a painting, we encourage people of all ages to get involved, showcase your creativity and challenge your family and friends to #CreateAndDonate.
How it works:
- Create your masterpiece within the 26 minute time-limit
- Share your masterpiece on social media via Instagram Stories (photo, video, timelapse – get creative!)
- Use the hashtags #TwoPointSixChallenge and #CreateAndDonate, tag @arts4dementia, and challenge 5 friends to do the same by tagging them
- Donate £26 or as much as you’d like to Arts 4 Dementia
Arts 4 Dementia will also be choosing their favourite masterpieces and sharing them on A4D channels, so make sure you give it your best shot!
