Dawlish Dancers are a group of ladies aged 55 to 70+ who love to dance. Some were non-dancers in previous lives but they all feel that now is their time and firmly believe that ‘anyone can be a dancer’.
They have a friendly, professional dance teacher who creates the dances using elements of many different dance styles and set to a wide variety of music.
Why not join them on Wednesday afternoons?
The classes are now being adapted to Zoom sessions!
The weekly sessions are a lot of fun and whilst they try to be as good as we can be, you will hear a lot of music and laughter coming from their hall on a Wednesday. Dance keeps your brain active and your body moving.
Anna Leatherdale can also offer tailor-made dance sessions for people with dementia via care homes or day centres.
