19 of the UK’s most exciting writers have written a collection of stories for the nation, exploring humanity and the unprecedented circumstances  we are currently living in.

Now it’s over to you to perform and record them. Individuals, families, partners, friends, care homes, anyone; we want to see what you will do with them.

Perform and record  one of them in its entirety OR you could just send us a video of a line or paragraph from one of the plays. It’s up to you.

You don’t need any acting experience at all. We just want you to enjoy telling a story. We have created a series of ‘How to…’ to give you some tips from top professionals.

Later in the summer we will be holding the ImagiNation Festival; an online festival of these stories told by the nation. We will edit together a film of each of the 19 plays made up of patchwork of the strongest, most fun or most interesting submissions we receive. We will also showcase submissions on our Youtube Channel. We want to use every video that is submitted to us, whether that be as part of the final films of each play as part of the trailer for the ImagiNation Festival; or showcased on Theatre Centre’s YouTube Channel.

If you want to be in with a chance of appearing in the final 19 ImagiNation Films then you will need to submit your recordings by  6pm Monday 20th  July 2020. You’re still welcome to submit films after this date for us to include on our Youtube Channel.
