A small friendly group to have some musical fun, relax and chat. It's not about 'perfect' singing, it's about having fun together and anyone is welcome.
We will be doing some vocal warm up exercises, sing some old favourite songs together, (sometimes with guitar) and some gentle guided movements to music. There may be the occasional guest appearance of one of my singing puppets too!
This event is just as much for carers as it is for people living with dementia.
You can join in as little or as much as you feel like. Singing can be a beautiful therapeutic experience, as a form of self-expression, tapping into memories and connecting with people. Come and have some fun!
Hannah has many years of experience working creatively with people with dementia and disabilities and is a dementia champion.
The groups are free, as we don't want anyone to miss out because of the cost, but if you can feel free to send a donation to the Oyster Project charity via our website.
Email or phone Hannah to ask any questions. For more information about the sessions, please see the Oyster Project website.
To register, please contact us on the details below. When you have signed up I will email you a link to join the class each week on our live video chat group.
