Music for Dementia – a series of concerts for those suffering from dementia and indeed for all who enjoy the joy of music.

The first concert is Monday February 17th from 2pm to 4pm at the Concert Artistes Association, 20 Bedford Street, Covent Garden, London WC2E 9HP.

These concerts are sponsored by The Carole Stone Foundation in memory of Carole’s late husband the television broadcast journalist Richard Lindley, who himself suffered from Alzheimer’s and who loved music and singing so much.

This first concert will be given by Rebecca Thornhill with Tom Wakeley at the piano. Rebecca is an award winning actress who has a appeared in many top shows in the West End and abroad. She will share some insights into her theatrical career in music theatre illustrated by several songs. Tom Wakeley has had a long career in the West End and is the Vocal Coach at RADA. His love is cabaret and sharing good music. There will be some well-known songs, some not so well-known, and songs to join in with.

The doors of the CAA will open at 2pm and the music will begin at 2.30pm and last for an hour. Tea will be served before the event ends at 4pm.
