The great thing about panto is that it includes songs that go back years. Music stays in the memory. People can join in, sing along and reminisce. This performance is carefully tailored for people with dementia and their families or carers so that everyone can enjoy the wonder of theatre at Nottingham Playhouse in an environment that is comfortable and supportive.

When Maleficent, the wickedest of witches, isn’t invited to Princess Rosalind’s Christening, she plots her revenge.

All grown up, the beautiful Princess pricks her finger on the needle of Maleficent’s enchanted spinning wheel and is cursed to sleep until woken by a kiss from her one true love. Soon Sleeping Beauty and her snoozing friends and family are trapped in the palace and surrounded by a magical forest.

Can the brave Prince Alexander, with the help of Fairy Wisheart, save them from their terrible fate and stop the evil witch’s plans before it is too late?

Nottingham Playhouse’s legendary panto is the perfect festive treat, with spectacular costumes, stunning sets, comedy and magical musical numbers for everyone to enjoy.

Come and join in the spellbinding fun.
