Come behind the scenes to talk about spring. This is a chance to explore artefacts using a range of senses. Many museum objects have a connection with nature, from real birds, collected 100 years ago, to Devon landscape paintings, flower patterns on English woodcarving or woven Central American clothing. Trained staff lead friendly discussion and help you find links in your own life, perhaps in the wildlife that visits your garden or the places you have been.

Our dementia-friendly activities are suitable for people with mild to moderate memory problems, who must be accompanied by a friend, relative or carer. Each visit begins with refreshments. We provide illustrated information sheets to take home and carry on the conversation.
