Greenfingers - Tuesdays, 10am - 12pm

Greenfingers is our core horticulture service based on Grimesthorpe allotments in Burngreave in inner-city Sheffield. It was set up in 2004 and now spans several beautiful allotments.

We offer a friendly, accessible local group, promoting positive mental and physical well-being and welcoming men and women of all ages and origins. Our members benefit from getting out of the house, getting exercise in the fresh air, meeting other people with similar experiences, making new friends and by losing themselves in activities which help them forget their problems.

Session information:
The session consists of meeting over a drink to decide what to do and then getting involved in gardening activities (as energetic or light as suits you). We end the session with time to chat and plan for future weeks. We provide everything you need to participate in the session.

We have risk assessed our sessions and adjusted things to take into COVID-19. We have reduced our group size to make sure we have enough space to socially distance. We have hand washing systems in place and make sure that sanitised tools and protective equipment are available and not shared.
