This month we bring you our mindful virtual café of 'Zen Doodle'. As usual we have a full programme in store for you with interesting content and 'make along' activities for all ages. We hope to inspire you to create some 'me time' and find that balance. There will be a bit of zen doodling, matcha tea making demonstration, how to make your own zen garden and yummy sweet snacks to make at home - matcha fudge and strawberry mochi. There will also be some Roald Dahl in our programme this month. As usual Mary is back to entertainment us with another repertoire of lovely music and of course our virtual café will not be complete without our usual line up of fun fact quizzes.

Make sure to check out the material list for all our activities on our main page if you would like to make along with us.

Due to unforseen circumstances, last month one of our guest speakers was not able to present her talk, however we are very pleased to welcome back the Museum of London this month. On behalf of the Museum of London, Marina will present her talk on the Notting Hill Carnival.

So that you do not miss out on a particular segment that you are interested in, we have included a schedule of our program below.

10:10 How do you relax?
10:30 Make Along - Zen garden

As a continued support to our community and especially to those who are still shielding due to #COVID19, we hope by hosting these virtual cafés we will bring some fun, stimulation, promote wellness, togetherness and community spirit.

Please do make yourself comfortable at home with your cup of tea and a plate of treats or home bakes, and join us at our Virtual Café event. Come dressed up if you like and have some fun with us. Share this with your family and friends, and ask them to join along.

If you know of someone who cannot access our event, why not telephone and share with them some of our content and activities - we can still be connected.

Everyone from anywhere in the world is welcome!

See you on the 19th September.
