Royal Parks Half Marathon 2021 – A fantastic effort!

On Sunday October 10, 27 wonderful people celebrated running together again by completing 13.1 miles in near-perfect conditions in the UK’s favourite half, the Royal Parks Half Marathon, to raise funds for A4D.

We are so grateful to each and every one, with special mentions for Felix Wintle, who raised over £2,000, Tom Starkie and Kate Goodrum who each raised over £1,000 and Team Ridgeway from Ridgeway Investment Management, whose 10 runners will have raised over £5,000 between them; with an extra special mention to RIM CEO James Maltin, who drove through the night from Fort William (had he just run up Ben Nevis?) to get to London to run for A4D for the sixth time and in under two hours!

Total funds raised, including Gift Aid, as we write, are an amazing £19,881. (You can see this grand total at the foot of the campaign page). Thank you so much – everyone!

Here are some memories of the event. I’m sorry we didn’t get everyone. If you would like to contribute a photo, email it to emily@arts4dementia.org.uk
