Join Arts 4 Dementia and the National Poetry Library, Southbank Centre for a programme celebrating poetry and creative writing, exploring the most comprehensive collection of poetry in Britain.
The workshops will be led by multi award-winning poet, Nick Makoha. Nick’s poems have appeared in The New York Times, Poetry Review, Rialto, Poetry London, Triquarterly Review, Boston Review, Callaloo, and Wasafiri. He has presented his work at many international events and toured for the British Council in Finland, Czech Republic, the US and the Netherlands.
These sessions will re-energise and inspire individuals, carers, families and friends living with early-stage dementia within the community.
No prior experience necessary. Participants are invited to register for all sessions with a companion. The workshops are completely free of charge.
